PJK is an elementary school in East Boston serving a diverse population of students, 97% of whom are identified as high-needs. A pilot program by Playworks has led to measurable improvements in student engagement, conflict resolution and transitions.
This two-year grant of $42,500 per year will fund full implementation of the Playworks program for the next two school years.
