He is Me Institute recognizes the significant impact that black male teachers have on students and seeks to increase retention and recruitment.  It provides a black male teacher network to support current educators, a college fellowship program for black male college students to gain teacher training and experience, and supports a pre-K-8 summer program that gives black male high school instructors teaching experience.
